As a wife and mother, I know first-hand the challenges that comes with trying to find time for self-care. What this struggle looks like for me, is as simple as deciding whether to take a relaxing bath or knocking out that load of laundry that’s been bothering me ever since I got up. Or perhaps having a day of relaxation for myself, or, going out and running errands for everyone else. If you can relate, please keep reading.

As you probably already know, a lack of a consistent and quality self-care routine can lead to a person becoming severely “burnt-out”, which is something I had begun experiencing in my own life a few years ago. During this time, I began searching for different methods, and products that I could implement into my daily routine that could relieve the stress I felt and bring me some sort of happiness. With the goal of relaxation in mind, I began my research, and that’s when I stumbled across the creative world of handmade candles, soaps, and scrubs that were made for the purposes of aromatherapy, relaxation, and skin care. I immediately fell in love with this craft, and I began experimenting with different products during the sections of time that I was able to steal for myself #MomHacks. Throughout this process, I began noticing how much better I felt after creating and using my own products, and how much this was improving my overall mental health. I began feeling like myself again, and even better.

I started sharing the different creations that I produced in my home lab with family and friends, as I figured that it would just as much help them with their anxiety and stress, as my products did for me. To my surprise, the positive reaction that I received from those who had used my products was much stronger than I could have ever anticipated. People began to feel more relax and calm, and I now realized that my products were serving as a mental cue for a person to slow down. To be still and breathe for a minute. I was now helping them to de-stress, and to intentionally create moments for self-care. As such, over time the demand for my products grew, and gave birth to what is now Indelible Bliss.

Now that you know where we started from, we can explain to you where we are going. Our core mission/goal at Indelible Bliss is to create products that stir a feeling of bliss and relaxation within our customers. To essentially create a cue for a person to slow down and take some time to care for themselves. That could be through the lighting up of one of our luxurious candles or using one of our all-natural face scrubs/soaps. We also aim to ensure that our products are safe for use in your home, and around your children and pets. With both of these objectives in mind, we hold ourselves accountable for doing the necessary research and testing required to produce safe and high-quality end products that carry a luxurious essence with them.
